Rafiant IQ is built around a simple principle: your offer history, your settings, and your driving data belong to you, not to us. This page explains exactly what happens with your information.
The following information is stored only in your browser's local storage, directly on your phone or computer. It is never transmitted to our servers, because we don't have a server that collects it:
If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or use a different device, this information does not transfer with you and cannot be recovered by us — we simply don't have a copy of it.
If you tap "Detect" to estimate your local gas price, your device's GPS coordinates (or, if GPS is unavailable, your IP address) are sent to a third-party lookup service to determine your general location:
These services receive only the coordinates or IP address needed to return a state/region — we do not store the result beyond using it to pre-fill a gas price estimate in your local settings (which itself stays on your device, per above). You can decline location access and enter your gas price manually instead.
Subscription payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not receive, see, or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly under their own privacy policy.
If you use the optional voice-input feature, your spoken audio is processed by your device's browser (Safari or Chrome) using its built-in speech recognition, which may send audio to that browser vendor's servers for transcription. This is governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy policies, not ours — we only receive the resulting text after transcription, and that text is used solely to fill in the offer fields on your screen.
Like virtually any website, our hosting provider's servers log basic connection information (such as IP address and request timestamps) as a normal part of serving web pages. We do not use this information for tracking or advertising, and do not combine it with any of the on-device data described above.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
